Etienne Zack was born in 1976 in Montreal. He began his studies back
east, then transferred to Emily Carr College of Art and Design. He has worked
tirelessly to develop multi-layered, multi-meaning work exploring elements of
our techno-visual environment. Inspired by the artistic process he helps us
know and more importantly see, the magic of his art. Zack's painterly work
sizzles with complexity and wonder leading us through his experience on many
levels. He is one of Canada's fastest rising art stars. His work explores the
materiality of our modern world juxtaposed with the process of artistic
